it is my belief that there is no better breakfast item than the versatile buttermilk biscuit. eating a fresh one is an invocation of nostalgia and one of the ultimate comfort foods. therefore, i have built my menu and restaurant on its humble but sturdy foundation.

i’m a design major, single dad, who’s left the corporate world behind to return to my hometown where my kids will be the 5th generation of my family to call it home.
i was midwest born and raised. as the oldest of five kids, i learned to cook as soon as i could reach things on a stool. i developed a love for cooking and always enjoyed seeing others enjoy the food i had prepared for them.
while everyone was perfecting their sourdough game during the covid lockdowns, i was perfecting my biscuit game. my friends and family all gave rave reviews and i knew i was on to something.
i started experimenting with what else i could do with a biscuit and it turned into what is now my menu with more creations to come.
